The knitting boards are made of solid kiln dried hardwood by master craftsmen, and sanded to a smooth finish. This board has 16 pins on each side and the 2 rows of pins are just 1" apart. It is a stationary board with no moving parts. The spacing between pins is 5/16" for a nice solid knit. This little board will be great for all kinds of small projects including scarves, intarsia design, bags and crafts.
